For coach Willis May, football has served as both reminder and respite from the realities of life following a mass shooting that killed 17 people at Stoneman Douglas High School in February 2018.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
