Hawks CEO Steve Koonin said moving the start of the NBA season from mid-October to mid-December would help ratings, because the league would avoid two months of competition with the NFL’s regular season.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
