The celebration has been part of sports for more than 40 years. But with athletes rethinking distancing during the coronavirus pandemic, even the high-five’s originator, Dusty Baker, is saying it’s time to move on.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
