The Redskins announced they will retire Bobby Mitchell’s No. 49. A Hall of Famer, Mitchell became the first black player for Washington, which was the last NFL team to integrate in 1962.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
