After a planned celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the founding of the Negro Leagues was shelved because of the pandemic, it moved to an online campaign called “Tip Your Cap,” drawing tributes from presidents, leaders, entertainers and athletes.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
