David Ubben of The Athletic is the recipient of the first Edward Aschoff Rising Star Award, named after the ESPN college football reporter who died last Christmas Eve from previously undetected Stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in his lungs.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
