Catcher Bruce Maxwell, the only major league player to kneel during the national anthem in 2017 to protest racial injustice, has agreed to a minor league contract with the Mets for next year and will report to major league spring training.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
