From Black men who left successful sports careers to join the squadron in the 1940s to current sports personalities inspired to #FlyLikeThem, the Tuskegee Airmen’s impact is still felt.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
