For decades, Iowa high school girls played 6-on-6 basketball, and the sport surpassed the boys in popularity. Title IX created new opportunities for girls and women in sports, but it also brought change to the revered Iowa game.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
