GREENWOOD, Ind. — Sophomore guard Kynidi Mason Striverson has been recognized for her performance on the court and in the classroom.
Following the conclusion of the 2023-24 women’s basketball season, Mason Striverson was named an Academic All-District selection by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday for her work on the basketball court and in the classroom. On the court, Mason Striverson was the Aces’ second-leading scorer, averaging 11.5 points a game, and led UE in assists with 122 over 32 games. Mason Striverson is also one of only three Evansville players who played all 32 games this season and is the only player to start all 32 games.
In the classroom, Mason Striverson has a 3.663 cumulative GPA as a business management major. She has been named to the University of Evansville’s Dean’s List twice over two years.
To be eligible to receive Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and have either played in 90% of the team’s games or started 66% of the team’s games.
