The Flyers have fired coach John Tortorella as the team spiraled toward missing the playoffs for the fifth straight season and one of the worst records in the Eastern Conference.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
