Chase Burns, a 22-year old right-hander and the No. 2 pick in 2024, became the first starting pitcher in the expansion era to retire the first five batters he faced via strikeout in his major league debut during the Reds’ 5-4 win over the Yankees.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
