Melissa Jefferson-Wooden of the U.S. and Oblique Seville of Jamaica won the 100-meter finals at the world championships in a changing of the guard in track.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
