Boston ace Garrett Crochet pitched into the eighth inning on Tuesday night, at one point retiring 17 consecutive batters, in a sparkling pitching performance that sent the visiting Red Sox past the New York Yankees 3-1 in their AL Wild Card Series opener.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
