Steve “Mongo” McMichael died in 2025 at age 67 after a five-year battle with ALS, and his wife Misty donated his brain to research.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
