In an email to the organization Wednesday, a copy of which was obtained by Mass Live, Alex Cora expressed thanks for his time in Boston as both a player and a manager, despite a poor start to the 2026 season that led to his abrupt firing Saturday night.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
