The Buffalo Sabres have rewarded coach Lindy Ruff with a two-year contract extension after the 66-year old led Buffalo back to the NHL playoffs, ending a league-leading 14-year postseason appearance drought.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
