Aces open MVC at Missouri State on November 29
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The final piece of the puzzle for the University of Evansville men’s basketball schedule has been put in place with the unveiling of the 2023-24 Missouri Valley Conference slate.
Evansville’s first league contest is set for November 29 at Missouri State. On December 2, the Purple Aces welcome UNI for the first home conference game. Last season, UE earned a 71-59 victory over the Panthers at the Ford Center.
Following the completion of the non-conference slate, conference games resume in January. UE opens the new year with a trip to Terre Haute to face Indiana State on January 3. Three of the next four games will take place at home with the Aces taking on Murray State (Jan. 6), Missouri State (Jan. 13) and Valparaiso (Jan. 17). On the 10th, UE will be in Peoria, Ill. to face Bradley.
A week-long trip to Iowa follows as Evansville is at Drake on the 20th and Northern Iowa three days later. Two home games compete the month with the Aces welcoming Illinois State on the 27th and UIC on the 31st.
February starts with a trip to Valparaiso on the 3rd as four of the first six contests will be on the road. After a home game versus Bradley on the 7th, UE is at Murray State on Feb. 10 before returning to the Ford Center to face Drake on the 13th. A 2-game road swing will see the Aces in Normal, Ill. to face Illinois State on the 18th before traveling to Chicago for a match-up against UIC on the 21st.
In the final two home games, UE welcomes Southern Illinois on Feb. 25 and Indiana State for Senior Day on the 28th. The regular season wraps up on March 3 with a trip to Belmont with Arch Madness following. It runs from March 7-10 in St. Louis.
