Karolina Pliskova, the No. 1 seed, was upset by Caroline Garcia in the second round of the US Open on Wednesday. It was the first time since 2008 that the top-seeded woman lost in the second round at the Open.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
