Vanderbilt’s Mikayla Blakes, a 5-foot-8 guard, scored a Division I women’s freshman record 55 points Sunday in a 98-88 overtime victory over Auburn, telling reporters afterward that “I had to prove myself, and just do whatever needed to be done for us.”
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
