The Rockies have dismissed general manager Bill Schmidt after a season in which they lost 119 games — the third straight season with at least 100 losses.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
