Tom Izzo has turned down multiple opportunities to coach in the NBA, including with the Cavaliers and Hawks. When the Lakers were willing to give UConn coach Dan Hurley a six-year, $70 million contract in 2024, Hurley asked Izzo for advice.
Starting at the beginning of the College Football Season in late August of this year, a new show will begin here on 97.7 WREF called Hammer and Emmett. This show features Cleveland personalities Aaron Goldhammer and Emmett Golden and will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. every Saturday.
